Welcome to Hedgehog Class
Welcome back to Term 4! We hope you had a wonderful break.
This term, our topic will focus on Australia, and we are excited to explore this vibrant country with the children.
In Mathematics, our Year 1 children will concentrate on learning addition and subtraction facts within 10, while our Year 2 children will be working on addition and subtraction of two-digit numbers. For further details on other areas of the curriculum, please see the topic web. We hope you find the topic web gives you a brief insight into some of the exciting activities we will be doing this term. Additionally, please continue to view Tapestry, where we enjoy sharing the children’s work with you.
Our PE sessions will take place on Tuesdays (Archery) and Thursdays (Orienteering). It is important that your child comes to school in appropriate PE kit for outdoor sessions on these days. Please ensure that jewellery is not worn for PE, and that hair is tied back for safety.
We ask that you continue to support your child at home with daily reading. Reading books will be changed on a Friday, however, please ensure that your child brings their reading books to school each day.
Our Value this term is Justice.
