Hedgehog Class

Dear Parents / Carers, Welcome back to Term 6. I hope you all had a wonderful half term in the sunshine! We have another busy but exciting term ahead, with lots of engaging learning planned for the children. Our history topic this term will focus on the Titanic, a subject I am sure the children will find fascinating and enjoyable to explore.

Please note that our PE days this term will be Mondays and Thursdays. On Mondays, the children will be working with skilled professionals from Fortius, focusing on athletics and preparing for Sports Day. On both PE days, please ensure your child comes to school dressed in appropriate PE kit.

We also ask that you continue to support your child at home with daily reading. Reading books will be changed on Fridays; however, please ensure that your child brings their reading books to school each day. We kindly request that you write in your child’s reading record each time they have read at home. Our Value this term is Respect. Key dates:

· Friday 26th June - Summer Fete

· Monday 6th July – TD Day

· Friday 10th July - Sports Day

· Wednesday 15th July - PTA Disco

· Thursday 16th July - Transition Morning

· Wednesday 22nd July – Last day of term
