Welcome to Foxes Class

Dear families,

Welcome to the Summer term in Fox class. We have an exciting term ahead!

You have been sent, along with this letter, the class topic overview so you can support us in your child’s learning this term. This term we are continuing with learning about the Romans and their invasion of Britain but with more focus on Roman Gloucestershire. This will get better when we visit Chedworth Roman Villa at the end of the month – we are all looking forward to the visit.

 

As a reminder, research suggests that daily reading is the single most effective daily habit your child can develop to support learning across all subjects. We encourage your child to read for at least 20 minutes every day, choosing books both for enjoyment and, over time, increasingly challenging or high-quality texts, either independently or with an adult.

PE: Our PE slots are Mondays and Thursdays Please ensure that your child comes to school in PE kit on these days.
